At Rhymba Hills® we pride in doing business with ethics and integrity, ie we believe in doing the right things. As such we believe in only using 100% natural and the highest quality tea possible, sourced from the northern parts of food basin of Malaysia, where the water originates from the limestone mountains.
We source as local as possible, so that the ingredients are fresh and nutritious. We do not believe in importing ingredients to justify the price as the ingredients would have travelled a long distance, and kept in warehouses for a long time. Also, by sourcing local, we are supporting the local farmers, and giving back to the community.
We pride that our ginger is sourced from Bentong, Pahang, where we believe it’s the best ginger in Malaysia. Thanks to the soil and water of Bentong, Pahang, Bentong ginger is known among the locals to be the most aromatic, flavourful and nutritious ginger compared to other parts of Malaysia. Thus, we are proud that we only use Bentong Ginger in our tea.
At Rhymba Hills®, we believe in only using the best ingredients possible. The best cinnamon in the world comes from Sri Lanka, and turmeric (with the highest content of curcumin) comes from India.
There are 2 kinds of cinnamon in the market, Cassia Cinnamon and Ceylon Cinnamon. We are proud to say that we only use Ceylon Cinnamon, from Sri Lanka, which is more expensive, and not Cassia Cinnamon, which is commonly used in the market as it is cheaper. However, Cassia Cinnamon is known to contain coumarin, of which long term usage causes liver damage.
