Malaysia had her first food and beverage exhibition a few days ago, at MATRADE. Cafe Malaysia gathered all the coffee enthusiasts (with a few tea companies) to increase the coffee culture and knowledge.
It was an interesting exhibition, talking to different coffee players and listening to what they think the future of coffee is for Malaysia. And of course, I reminded them, not to leave tea out! (need to plant the seed!) When they ask me what is my favourite herbal infusion, with pride, I shared with them – Lemongrass + Bentong Ginger !
I could only smell the aroma of coffee but I was not able to drink them since I am caffeine intolerant. Thus, it was a good conversation starter to these coffee players to bring in non caffeine beverages to accommodate consumers like me! 🙂
