Gulfood 2016, Dubai

Gulfood has been holding its exhibition in Dubai for more than 20 years, making it the biggest Halal exhibition in the world. It is also the world’s second largest food show after Anuga in Germany. This year’s exhibition was held from the 21st of February until the 25th of February 2016 at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC).

 

This year, it hosted more than 85, 000 visitors which comprises of not only prominent key players of the food industries but also heads of state, ministers, government officials and many more. The exhibition drew over 5,000 international companies from over 120 countries and boasted over 117 pavilions.

 

The show this time around was also a bit special as it launched its first Russian pavilion. The exhibition also held an award ceremony to congratulate the excellent and innovative members from every category of the global food industry. It was truly one of the “most diverse, energetic and vibrant trading hub”. With the promise of ‘more tastes, more trends and more trade’, the 2016 Gulfood was exceptional!

It was impressive to see so many countries participating there. We had an eye-opening experience meeting different exhibitors and to keep up with the trend of tea and other beverages. The trip confirmed that we are on the right track and made us realised that the huge potential that awaits us in the healthy beverage industry!

It was truly eye opening to see so many exhibitors, and to see what is the trend of tea and other beverages. We know that we are on the right track, and we know that the potential in the healthy beverage industry is HUGE.
